Minna Forsström moves on to new challenges

Fennovoima’s project director Minna Forsström will move on to new challenges. Forsström leaves the company in good spirits. She does not want to talk about her next career step yet.

“Leading such an international and significant project has been very rewarding. I have learned a lot along the way. I wish the project and the people involved all the best. I especially want to thank everyone in Pyhäjoki”, Forsström says.

Originally, Minna Forsström joined the project through Voimaosakeyhtiö SF, Fennovoima’s majority shareholder. She was responsible for negotiating a plant delivery contract with Rosatom. The contract was signed in December 2013. Eventually, she moved on to lead Hanhikivi 1 project as Fennovoima’s project director.

“Over the years, we have recruited hundreds of people, we have built a supply chain consisting of hundreds of companies, and made Fennovoima the company it is today”, she continues.

Forsström does not want to talk about her future plans yet.

"As the next step I will spend time with my family and friends. After that it’s time for the next project”.
